Evgenia Singur
Founder & Director of Singur Ballet
Evgenia Singur graduated from the Bolshoi Ballet Academy in Moscow, Russia. After graduation, she joined the Russian State Ballet in Moscow, where she became a Soloist and performed principal and soloist roles in The Nutcracker, Swan Lake, Giselle, Sleeping Beauty, Don Quixote, Spartacus, Scheherazade, Les Sylphides, and many others.
With the Russian State Ballet, she toured internationally to over 30 countries, performing for audiences that included the Queen of England, the Kings of Oman and Dubai, and numerous presidents. She has been featured in European and Russian dance magazines, representing Grishko in advertising campaigns.
Her specialties include teaching ballet and character dance. She has taught at the Baltimore School for the Arts and the Kirov Academy of Ballet in Washington, D.C., and has served as a judge and guest teacher at international competitions such as the Canaan Dance International Ballet Competition and the World Ballet Grand Prix in New York and Ulaanbaatar.
Ms. Singur’s students have earned numerous awards, including gold, silver, and bronze medals at prestigious international ballet competitions. Her students are now dancing with renowned ballet companies around the world.
Bat Udval
Artistic Director of Singur Ballet
Bat Udval is the Artistic Director of Singur Ballet as well as the Artistic Director of the World Ballet Grand Prix in New York and Mongolia. Born in Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia, Mr. Udval graduated from the Perm Ballet College in Perm, Russia. As a Principal Dancer with the Russian State Ballet, he performed nearly all major roles and toured more than 40 countries alongside legendary artists such as Vladimir Vasiliev, Ekaterina Maksimova, Marina Semenova, Olga Lepeshchinskaya, Leonid Lavrovsky, and Mahmud Esambaev.
He has served as a judge for the Korea International Ballet Competition, the Asian Ballet Competition, the World Ballet Art Grand Prix, and the World Ballet Grand Prix, and as a master teacher for the Korea International Ballet Competition and the Asian Grand Prix.
His international performance career has included appearances at the Bolshoi Theatre of Russia, the Royal Opera House in the United Kingdom, the open-air Theatre of Dionysus in Greece, the London Coliseum, Teatro alla Scala in Milan, the Sydney Opera House, the Palacio de Bellas Artes in Mexico, the Friedrichstadt-Palast in Berlin, and the Kremlin Palace in Moscow.

He has received numerous honors, including the 2021 Youth America Grand Prix Best Teacher Award, Honorary Academician of the Académie Internationale de la Danse for outstanding choreographic achievement, and the title of Honorary Professor of the Mongolian State Conservatory.
Mr. Udval’s students have earned gold, silver, and bronze medals at prestigious international ballet competitions and now dance with leading ballet companies around the world.
As a performer, he was recognized with multiple awards, including Best Contemporary Dancer (1989), the Silver Medal at the 1993 International Ballet Competition in Moscow, and Best Dancer at the 1995 International Ballet Festival in South Korea.
Nina Buisson
Contemporary Ballet Teacher
Nina Buisson is a French-born choreographer and dance educator, currently based in New York. She received a scholarship to the Princess Grace Academy of Classical Dance in Monte Carlo under the direction of Marika Besobrasova and completed her musical training at the Prince Rainier III Music Academy in Monaco. She holds a BFA in Dance and a professional pedagogical diploma in ballet and modern dance from the French Ministry of Culture in Aix-en-Provence.
Since 2010, Nina has been a recipient of the Malatray Victoria Foundation for the Arts and has been recognized by the American Guild of Musical Artists for her extraordinary ability as a teacher and coach. As Artistic Director of Nina Buisson Contemporary Move, she has collaborated with companies across Europe and the United States, performing in dance, physical theater, and film. Her choreographic work has earned critical acclaim and top awards at international competitions, including The Spirit Award for Choreographic Excellence at The Elan Awards in New York (2010).
Nina’s students have excelled in major competitions worldwide, including the Youth America Grand Prix (YAGP), the Boston International Ballet Competition, the Varna International Ballet Competition, TANZOLYMP in Berlin, and the Helsinki International Ballet Competition. They have earned top prizes, including a Top 12 placement at YAGP in 2022 and gold medals at the Delaware National Ballet Competition in 2022 and 2023.
Her choreography has been presented at prestigious venues such as the Steinhardt School of Education at NYU, the Juilliard School Dance Division, Symphony Space, and Miller Theatre at Columbia University, as well as internationally at venues including the Cultural Center of the Philippines. In addition to her creative work, Nina has taught master classes, workshops, and seminars in France, Italy, Spain, Sweden, Brazil, Mexico, and the United States. She has served on faculty at the Peridance, Capezio Center and Valentina Kozlova Dance Conservatory, and from 2015 to 2021 was a judge for the Valentina Kozlova International Ballet Competition (VKIBC), where she also choreographed compulsory contemporary works.
Currently, Nina coaches and choreographs for institutions such as Ellison Ballet Academy and Singur Ballet. She is known for her innovative approach, which draws inspiration from music, theater, and film, and is a passionate advocate for cross-disciplinary collaboration. She views art as a transformative force for both personal growth and social change.
Emily Sipnick
Pilates Instructor
Media & Operations Coordinator
Emily Sipnick brings extensive administrative and organizational experience to her role as Media & Operations Coordinator at Singur Ballet, where she helps support the school with operations, communications, social media, and photography.
She trained at Naples Dance Conservatory and Miami City Ballet School before dancing professionally with Grand Rapids Ballet, Connecticut Ballet, and as a freelance artist in Orlando, Dallas, Chicago, New York City, and New Jersey. In addition to her work in dance, Emily is pursuing her comprehensive Pilates instructor certification with Ann Toran through Balanced Body and teaches Pilates, combining her professional ballet background with a passion for movement and wellness. She is very excited to be continuing her training with Singur Ballet.
Her photography portfolio includes capturing dancers and classes for companies in Florida, Texas, and New York City, where she brings together her artistic eye and deep understanding and appreciation of the art of dance.
Bilgude Ariunbold
Guest Contemporary Ballet Teacher
Originally from Mongolia, Bilgude trained as a ballet dancer at the Mongolian Conservatory from 2005 to 2012. In 2009, while still a student, he was invited to join the State Academic Theater of Opera and Dance, where he performed as a Soloist until 2015. He then joined Wise Ballet Theatre in South Korea as a Principal Dancer, performing with the company from 2015 to 2021.
In addition to performing, Bilgude studied choreography at the Mongolian National University of Arts and Culture from 2020 to 2023. During this time, he created a new choreography titled Energy (2023), which premiered in Mongolia.
In January 2024, Bilgude joined Complexions Contemporary Ballet in New York City.
Telmen Munkherdene
Guest Teacher; Artist with New Orleans Ballet Theatre
Telmen Munkherdene began his training in his native Mongolia at the Mongolian State Conservatory, graduating in 2017. During his final year, he performed with the Mongolian State Opera and Ballet Theatre. He was later awarded a full scholarship to the Kirov Academy of Ballet in Washington, D.C., where he joined the junior company and performed Giselle with the Cuban National Ballet at the Kennedy Center. He trained under renowned ballet masters including Bat Udval, Evgenia Singur, and Marina Bogdanova.
Telmen has received numerous accolades throughout his career. He won the Silver Medal for classical ballet and the Grand Prix for contemporary dance at the 32nd World Association of Arts Exchange Festival in South Korea. He also earned the Bronze Medal at the Mongolian National Ballet Competition. In 2019, he was awarded the Gold Medal at the World Ballet Grand Prix in New York, along with a full scholarship to the Joffrey Ballet School. That same year, he received the Silver Medal and Best Technique Award at the Jewels Festival in New York and a diploma at the Youth America Grand Prix Finals.
Notably, Telmen is the youngest recipient of the Medal for Leading Cultural Artist in Mongolia, awarded by the Ministry of Culture. He has performed as a guest artist in international productions, including in China, with Ajkun Ballet Theatre in the United States, and in Firebird with Komaki Ballet Japan in Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia.
His repertoire includes leading roles in classical ballets such as Don Quixote, Le Corsaire, Flames of Paris, Walpurgis Night, Diana and Acteon, The Nutcracker, Swan Lake, and Giselle. Telmen begins his first season with New Orleans Ballet Theatre in September 2024.
